Aluminum can repair

#1

Post by VNV »

Hi,

Sorry about this not being a beer can repair.. but thought this might be the right section for this post?

A week or so ago I found a Coke can online that I have trying to acquire for a while. It was in bad shape, and even worse shape after shipping. These Marine Corps cans are another one of my side collection and I am always looking for more cans.

Yesterday decided to try and get some dents out of there and at least make it displayable..

Here are the before pics:

Had to cut out the lid and do some manual de-denting.
After pics:

The can went up the shelf and I think it looks pretty good, considering things.

Thanks,
VNV

Yup I did. Otherwise I would have not been able to reach it. I wanted to try a bramlette bender? But don't have one and I think that would only really work on steel cans?
