Old Bohemia Cone Top

Post by Conehead »

Yes, I have always been under the impression that USBC #175-29 has "Beer" in white and 175-30 has "beer" in cream. I have never seen the "Beer" in white and am skeptical about the color variation. I hope they find the original examples and really determine what the differences were.

I have noted a pretty cool variation though. There is an alcohol blacked out variation of 175-31.

NOT FOR SALE

Black out variation. At first glance it just looks like "Beer" has been raised, but if you enlarge the image you will see a dark stripe where the alcohol statement has been covered. Every one of these "raised beer" examples I have seen have this dark stripe. I wonder if any exist without the dark stripe.

Thanks Jim, love the variation. I'll be looking for that one, although I don't know if I've ever actually seen a dumper Old Bohemia in my price range ever, other than the one I have. I am also skeptical of the "white" one in the book being a real difference.
