Cabin in upstate NY

#1

Post by kruegerbock »

A friend of a friend found a beer can dump on his property while restoring a cabin in upstate NY. If I can get his permission and details I'll provide them to you. Three of the four aren't good, but the fourth might indicate there's be stuff worth finding in there.

I always say all dumps are worth digging in. I have seen plenty of dumps loaded with tabs that had older cans underneath. Found some of my oldest cans in dumps like that. One had the first bally OI's and flat bottom fitz J-spouts plus Qt's and other cool cans. Good luck!

Andy G and I have 3 or 4 dumps like that.Just last yr this big dump had aluminum on top with LP Gibbons and Qrts under them and Glenn P and I found a farmers dump last yr that had aluminum cans and pull tabs mixed in with Genny 12 horse ale OIs and Coopers Qrts beer and Ale im pretty sure the dump was pushed probably with a tractor in effort to cover is why u had tabs with Qrts. Another dump Andy and I found had lots of 50s Ballentines on top but Milwaukee Club cones and Poths Beer underneath. Portermite and I found a dump about 3 yrs ago with tabs on top but Bushkill Qrts on the bottom.

I'll be up by Cooperstown in mid October for about 9 days. Would love to check it out.
