Paintover Moderator needed

Post by idigrust »

After nearly 2 years of moderating, Dan Scoglietti is stepping down and moving on to Moderate the new Tax lid forum. Thanks for your hard work Dan, I know the Tax lid forum is in good hands. So with that being said, we need someone to take over the Paint-Over forum. Let us know if you are interested.

...speaking of paintovers... has anyone run across a Senate with an Old Georgetown label underneath (or vice versa)? Dumped one at Mt Vernon in '74. Could also have been a misprint,I guess.

Your PM is first in line, you sure you don't want it?

This board has been just unbelievable in bringing me back into the hobby of collecting cans. Yes, I really would like to help out if needed.

Welcome, Mike! I hope to get you some additions this week. Not sure what I've got but definitely some Land of Lakes paintovers. Probably just Schwegmann Bock cans.

Whatever you do, PLEASE get people to post the mandatory and can company and book number if the can that is painted over the can underneath! For instance, It's pointless to say a Fox DeLuxe bock us underneath a yellow Pfeiffer when there's so many minor variations. If you look at all Dan Scogs posts you'll see him asking this again and again and again with only crickets as a reply.
"Although the cans will be of no value after opened, their cost is expected to be small..." Iowa: June 22, 1935

Why drive 12 hour one way to dig Pre-Tax Tru Blu ales, Genny 12 Horse Longopeners, Gamecock Ales, Apollos, Neuweilers Bock, and Krueger’s Baldies when you can locally drive 10 hours round trip and dig Pfeiffer, Goebel, Drewrys and Strohs?
