The Official Bud Light Team Colors Trade Room

#1

Post by Bryan2 »

I know there is a few of us chasing these cans, but we may be getting lost in the other thread. So I thought I'd start my own Post for actual trading.

I'm working on drinking a case of these orange and white cans that I have for trade. It has # 662515 from the northern Ohio region. I guess it works for the Cleveland Browns, BG Falcons. I already have a couple of deals going for scarelt & grey and orange & blue. If I have to drink more of these, I will. Let's trade !!!

Currently in a collecting funk. Waiting for the bug to bite again to get back into collecting some type of cans, on a small, affordable level.

Haven't found them in NJ yet. Found the following on a NJ distributor's website:

http://www.beerprofitguide.com/progress ... -Pride.pdf

Toggle down to second page for a picture of 24 different color combinations. If I do find some I would be interested in doing some trading. Just don't know if I can actually drink Bud Light...

Those are kind of neat. Looks like something that would be fun for my son to work on obtaining the set.

I should have the Steeler's colors this week. I would like to trade 5 emptys for 5 emptys. I am taking a trip to Florida in mid October + will go through the following states W.V., Va., N.C., S.C., Ga.,-northeast through southwest Fl.. Which states do I need to stop + look for which colors? (I have a friend who likes to drink for free + she has become very good at bottom-opening cans without damaging them {at least the 1st six-pack of the night}) Thanks to all!!! Go Steelers! John

I do not particularly care to drink Bud Light, but can bite the bullet to help out my son's collection. I sure know my Dad did for me when I was a kid. He drank some real clunkers for me back in the day.

At the request of an out of state friend I've checked a few stores for green and yellow University or Oregon cans but have not found them. Perhaps they have been yanked from the shelves like LaGarrette Blount's jerseys. Orange and black cans would be my preference but I have not seen any of those either.

My Dad drank more than his share of rotten beer to help me build my trading stock when I was young. A lot of us only appreciated what our Dads went through years later when we started actually drinking some of this stuff for ourselves.

Which ties in to a funny story. We were watching one of the early Bond movies one night, and my dad made a comment about Moneypenny being a very common British name. I challenged him on that, and laid out a bet: if I won, and there weren't a page of Moneypennys in the phone book, he'd buy a case of Golden Brau for me. Those were very hot cans at the time, and my dad absolutely hated that beer. Needless to say, there were no Moneypennys in the phone book at all, and I got my cans. At least my Dad has a sense of humor. We joke about it to this day any time we see a Bond film.

As for the Bud Light "fan cans", I have black and gold (pictured), and I'm pretty sure I can track down purple and yellow for LSU (if not here, DEFINITELY in Baton Rouge) and probably green and white for Tulane.

Guys,

I have a new case of burnt orange and white # 662515 and I can also get red and silver # 662527 in my area. I may have missed getting back with some of you, please remind me if I haven't been in touch. I also read that they will stop producing these cans around the end of October. I will trade as fast as I can drink!!!
Currently in a collecting funk. Waiting for the bug to bite again to get back into collecting some type of cans, on a small, affordable level.

Bud Light web page shows 26 colors, with a page to vote for favorite colors. We should use the words they use for the color schemes so we have a consistent way to describe each can. Check it out here:
