Ed Iskendarian. If you're a gear head you'll know the name. Used to take pride in having the sticker that came with the cam on the window of my POS when I was a kid. Brilliant man who lived to be a 104 yrs. old. Hope they got a good cigar for you up there Ed. Godspeed.

I have seen him in Geronimo countless times and loved it every time. I watched Second Hand Lions two weeks ago. It's a good one too. I think it's time to watch some others when I have a chance. He certainly had an impressive career.

Everyone knows the song but may not be able to place his name.

Thanks Bryan. Take this job and shove it was written by David Allen but got popular with a singer named Johnny Paycheck. Johnny Paychecks name was a dig at Johnny Cash. Outlaw country music...They even made a movie with Bigfoot (the truck) featuring that song. DAC was controversial but had some good tunes.

Dennis Locorriere. Founding member of Dr. Hook and did a lot of the vocals. I always knew when they played Dr. Hook at party's it was time to go home. :smt030 Lots of great tunes but probably my favorite was 'Roland the Roadie' but they had many great tunes that would get me shuffling feet. Unfortunately I look like Julia Louise Dreyfuss from Seinfeld when dancing. It was still a good time. God speed Dennis.

WOW! This was certainly a shock when I saw it on the evening news tonight. Only 41 years old. He was a polarizing driver but I would like to think even the fans who did not care for him respected his skills.

One of the really good people in NASCAR...Ned Miller Jarrett, 93, of Newton, N.C., passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026.

Ned Jarrett was an American race car driver and broadcaster. He was a two-time NASCAR Grand National Series champion, winning titles in 1961 and 1965. He was inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame in 1990 and the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in 1991. Ned was named one of NASCAR's 50 Greatest Drivers in 1998 and was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2011. RIP..

Good guy from the golden era of NASCAR. His son Dale was a favorite when I was watching NASCAR. I think Dale followed his dad's footsteps and was a commentator for a bit just like his dad.

Ozzy left us 1 year ago today. Without a doubt my favorite artist. Finally got someone to mow my yard "see old man rant thread"... Kickin back my heels looking at my yard with a cocktail and got Sabbath Bloody Sabbath playing. Gonna be a good night. Tomorrow morning maybe not so much...
