The black and white pic was in the local paper this week. Notice the minnow bucket on his right. The other pic is my dad's old minnow bucket in my can room. I think the minnow buckets look very similar.

Very cool! I think the painted bucket you have could have just as well been the one in the black and white pic. I notice your galvanized cans all have handles. B&W pics it's hard to tell but it could well be he has your version of the minnow bucket in the pic. I didn't know there was more than one design. Can geeks notice stuff like that. :smile:

Noticed the LOL rubs too. Did they make any that weren't over paints?

Like the mount. My dad had only one he thought worthy of mounting. He and grandpa were dock fishing on Lake Conway and the bass broke the line. My grandpa lost the fish but dad put the net down on the other side of the dock and by some fluke caught it. Huge fish with bad luck. Lots of stories about that trip to fill the memories of life. I think my brother has it now.
