help with what bock can this is?

#1

Post by zoinkss »

I was bidding on a collection last night and saw a small corner of a bock can.
Can anyone help tell me what can this is? I was betting it was a good one. The shelf in the picture blocked it but in the small pictures I could just make out it was a bock can.

Kind of a wild guess here but I'm wondering if it's a non-US can. Looks like the contents are in both ounces and milliliters, which would be odd on an older bock from the US.

Looks like it is a 1984 Mule Kicker Navy football schedule can.

From the picture I think it is a straight steel flat top can. I can see a rusty bottom lid. Does look like the mule kicker can but straight steel?

I think the bottom "lid" is actually the beveled or rounded edge of the aluminum can.

@hastabeshasta
I think that's the exact can!

@Dammit Jim!
I agree with his assessment of the can bottom.

Maybe some of our soda can collectors could chime in.

Found these eBay searches:
