Olivia Newton John passed away today at 73 after a long battle with breast cancer. While not celebrities, a couple of my mentors have passed away in the last couple weeks and while the folks on this forum wouldn't know them, they were my heros.

I hear a lot of people say Christina Ricci is the "original Wednesday Addams", so I wonder how many even know who Lisa Loring is. I met her at Motor City Comicon about ten years ago. I generally stay away from the media guests at Comicon, but I was looking for the guys I was there with and found them talking to her - she was really cool and obviously enjoyed hanging out with fans. Many of the media guests attend to sell stuff to make a living, but she didn't even have anything for sale.

I agree, Cindy Williams was underrated . . . you'd think she'd be well known for American Graffiti.

Just watched a segment on Geddy Lee this morning on the CBS Morning Show about Rush, one of the greatest bands from Canada. A bit of trivia... Geddy's real first name is Gary but his mothers accent was so thick it sounded like Geddy, hence the name...

This afternoon I see that Myles Goodwyn from April Wine had passed - another of my faves from our brothers to the north. Just had Harder Faster cranked up this last week. RIP Myles...
