007 six pack scam on ebay

This must be a scam, right? I've seen the exact same listing a few times before and it always disappears in a few days. It doesn't show up in "completed" listings. Notice the guy's sales terms - don't buy it thru ebay, send an email instead. Funny thing is the seller seems to have a legit profile, I wonder if these listings are hacks of real ebayers?

I agree. This screams scam. I clicked on the link to report the auction to ebay. Of course, that is not likely to do any good. Scammers just find new ways to circumvent the system. Admittedly, as you pointed out, the account looks legit.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

2023 Shows Attended

* Michigan Chapter Winterfest, January 14, Frankenmuth Michigan
* Cabin Fever Reliever, February 24, Mishawaka Indiana
* Buckeye, March 11, Toledo Ohio
* SummerSwap, July 21 & 22, Frankenmuth Michigan

Is it the same dinged up six pack carrier each time? This has been going on for more than a month now...

Was just looking at this 6 40am est and it ended.... and their auctions went from 11,000+ to 28 then 86... Might be Ebay just closing up their account... They did have several pretty expensive items with multiple bids- an 1988 Harley Hogs t shirt had 6 bids and was a tick under $3800. Crazy

6 45 and only 2 items listed but can't click on either. I think Ebay took them down completely.

The scam continues!

Looks like he's hi-jacking other people's accounts for the listing.

Same deal, he wants you to follow a link, outside of Ebay, to pay. I wonder if anyone has fallen for this yet?

I just screen shotted this about 5 minutes ago.

I've reported this several times since the last post here, most recently a few minutes ago.

Related good news. Got a helasweet deal on a 6 pack of 007 cans on eBay! Better yet: Guy takes Amazon gift cards! This is the best deal on the internet since I helped out this nice Nigerian prince who needed help with some fiduciary matters and is gonna pay me to help him out. He's been a little while with the check, but I guess it takes a while for these international things to clear.
