Cleaning Beer Cans by Dick "Uncle Dick" Adamowicz

#1

Post by keithker »

Fellow hobbyists have asked for some instructions/advice on can cleaning.

This was filmed in the early 1990's. Watch Dick (Uncle Dick) Adamowicz BCCA #344 cleaning cans at home in Ohio.

All cleaning techniques are those of Dick's through he time tested personal experiences.

We don't specifically endorse any of the cleaning technics since we don't want to hear stories about how your Neuweiler Bock Beer can was ruined because of what you saw.

Keith, thanks for posting. I’ve never met Dick, but sure feel like I know him now. What a great video which show his passion for the hobby and all things cleaning and can repair. After watching the video, I wish I would have been dumping in 1995! Love his van!
Thanks. Dave

Keith - thanks for posting this- haven't seen this since the VHS glory days! Uncle Dick is a "Titan" & so instrumental in formation / growth our RB Chpr as well as mentoring so many younger collectors. Anyone that's dumped with Dick will attest to how meticulous he planned / process / follow up, etc. Think / guessing he dropped this video in 89?

-always looking for series cans, exotic offgrade labels, brewery bricks, beer/baseball pieces, new craft beers to consume
