My view on the Marriott (the overflow hotel)

After checking in I went to the front desk inquiring about posterboards in elevator lobbies so we can post our room numbers for room-to-room trading. Was told that no one from the BCCA contacted them to request doing this.

Last night I went to the top floor - to work my way downward - and found 1 open door. While inside past President Keith Kershner came in. I told him about the lack of boards. He said that it was the responsibility of the host chapter, not the BCCA, to do that, so obviously they dropped the ball. Keith called someone to Light a fire under them to try to make that happen. Thanks Keith.

Thursday morning I found out that the host chapter got 4 poster boards set up in elevator lobbies in the Marriott; they chose the floors that had the most BCCA members. But the Marriott had 14 floors of rooms, so most people were left out. Worse, I went to all floors Friday night for room-to-room trading and saw that I was the only one who put up a note saying my room number and what I had, even though the boards were installed early Thursday morning.
