Antique Saws

Post by pinnacle-project »

I love tools. New tools, old tools, it does not matter. I just love tools. I do not go to many garage sales but on my way home today, I stopped at an estate/garage sale. It was one of those professionally run sales where somebody comes in and just prices everything right where it sits in the house.

While out in the garage, I found these antique saws hanging on the wall above the garage door. Thankfully, the garage door was down or else they would have been hidden. They were not priced so I went inside to see what they cost. They told me $10 each. I was a little short on cash (I spent most of it at SummerSwap) so I asked them if they would take $40 for all five. They agreed. That's quite a deal. The large cross cut saw is easily worth that much since it still has the original handles and they are not damaged.

Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.
