Fitzgerald's Burgomaster Dull Gray Crowntainer

#1

Post by jacoby4664 »

A recent acquisition with a fellow Rusty Bunch member, thank you very much Steve,is pictured here. This Fitzgeralds Burgomaster is the dull gray paint variation. The same can, came in silver color; as did the same era Fitzgerald's Pale Ale and Fitzgerald's Garryowen Ale crowntainers. That said, I have never seen this Burgomaster in dull gray before. Can anyone share with me other examples of this can? Or, past sightings of the can?

Thank, Bill

PS Crowntainers FOREVER!!!

PS Meant to say the same era Fitzgerald's Pale Ale and Fitzgerald's Garryowen Ale came in both silver and dull gray color variations.

IMO. The beers in silver are very tough. The battleship gray's are easily as tough on grade as a bock. I have not ever seen in 50 years a dull gray garryowen or pale ale up for sale.
