CANvention allowable items when entering the trade floor
I'm planning on purchasing a back pack or duffle bag or some other way to store my purchased cans as I walk around the trade floor. It seems I remember from prior CANventions that certain items such as these are not allowed to be brought on the trade floor. Could someone in the know provide clarification on this issue as to just what storage tools are allowed and what are not?

As long as you are a registered member or guest, you are allowed to carry in about anything. The restriction your referring to is for walk ins only.

Can't bring in a pocket knife, even if you only want to use it to open cans from the bottom.

I take umbrage to these falsehoods and mis-directions!!! Crowntainers are the very essence of the Beauty of Beer cans. It is a documented fact in the recesses of my mind!!jim.peterson wrote: ↑Fri Aug 06, 2021 12:53 pmNo, all Crowntainers must be disposed of in the back of the blue Ford F150...

Re: CANvention allowable items when entering the trade floor
Probably not what you had in mind, but usually there is an announcement that you can't drink your own beer on the trade floor, you are supposed to buy it from the vendor. (although not everyone obeys this rule)

Re: CANvention allowable items when entering the trade floor
I always have my back pack, both for reference material and to carry six pack cartons for cans I acquire on the trade floor.
