My First Time Digging a Beer Can Dump

#1

Post by Joec03 »

I just recently got into Beer can collecting. I'm into metal detecting, bottle hunting, insulator hunting already, and so digging beer cans was just a natural fit. I only recently learned about the hobby after finding an old pfeiffer's beer can last week. So with the aid of my metal detecting gear, I decided to go back to where I found the can today. I ended up digging a bunch of old Tudor Beer cans. It was a lot of fun, I'll certainly be doing this again.

Welcome to the site. Congrats on those finds. You should talk to Ted Clark a.k.a. Bantam in here. He lives near Grand Rapids & could show you how to clean those with acid. LEON.

All these cans have been found within an hour of the Grand Rapids area... By me and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Pit dumping, scatter dumping or indoor finds, Alpines, Old Golds, old Germans or old timers, I've done it all...
