Re: Mystery Conetop...
The mystery cone is undeniably a Burger, and could either be the green Ale previously pictured or a red Beer. I can't make out the lettering closer to the bottom and the colors are all washed out, but both cans are the same basic design with different background colors in the oval. If I were a gambling man I'd guess yours to be a Beer, but will abstain from advancing any further opinions until I figure out why in the hell a provincial Ohio label like that found its way to Alaska. Wonders never cease.
The Rainier is a later 40s label (like #10 or #11 as pictured by Ted). The Jubilees you referred to are series cans that came in a crazy huge array of graphic designs and colors. Almost all of them have festive, vivid basecoat colors. So if you find a handful of them somewhere, they could all actually be different cans. Here's a photo I grabbed off Google that shows a tiny segment of them - there are hundreds (thousands?) of possible scene and color combinations, they came in several different series, and four different sizes (11oz, 12oz, 15oz, and 16oz). They are definitely a topic unto themselves.

Re: Mystery Conetop...
Wheaton thanks for that bud. I'll have to find that Can again and take more photos or Bette they clean it. But I think I remember I saw green and black on it.

Re: Mystery Conetop...
Well, that would make it an Ale. Weird, weird, and more weird...

Re: Mystery Conetop...
Well maybe some fellas came up here to Work on Davidson Ditch and brought with him his favorite beer since he had no idea what Alaska carried for beer.
But that's cool to see a can made it up here from Ohio

Re: Mystery Conetop...
I remember digging Burger Ale cones in Meridian Mississippi 10 years ago. Always a good can to dig I think. the non umlets version the tougher one so look out for that one. LEON.

Re: Mystery Conetop...
Dog gone it. I always meant to go back to that burger spot but it's 90 miles from the house and I've only found one spot on that road that gave up can's, so I've been heading in the other direction digging quantity.
