Re: ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL
Strange that two posts in an obvious football thread from posters that don't care anything about sports...
While Thursday's may not count for the football draft/pools, Seattle sure dominated Green Bay. I was in/out of the house today, and as a Steelers fan it didn't make sense that they would have needed a late field goal to beat the Browns when they were dominating when I left. Also was surprised to flip on the 49er's game and see them up 21-3 when their offense didn't seem to score three touchdowns all preseason. Of course turned out the Colts handed them 14 of those so defense took care of the points. Interesting start of the season.
Now Saturday much worse for us "Big Ten" fans, with MSU, OSU and Michigan all getting thumped hard. My Wolverines couldn't score a single point against Notre Dame??? And to top it off, my son's Mercyhurst team lost 27-21 to Bentley (Boston) and a nine hour bus ride back to PA. I guess one loss over the entire season won't be so bad. My only "must see" games this season are this team and this guy:

Re: ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL
Randy, I feel for your Big10 conference this weekend. After the Pac12, I like the Big10 best. I love the classic Rose Bowl matchup. This weekend, my Ducks played well against MSU. But my favorite Big10 team did not look good against the Irish. Having Ohio State loose helped a little, but the shutout really stung.
