Week Five Fantasy Football Replay

#1

Post by thatsus02 »

Welcome Rust Fans, The season action is hot and heavy here at the Rusty Dump :smt026 . In the game of the week Crowntainers used a big day from Denver's kicker combined with a Rivers gem on Sunday night to pull ahead and take down Team Silver bar 101-86.

In other action, Gordons hotdogs get his their first win of the season 96-75 over Drapers Sportsmen. In an interview after the game Steve was caught on tape saying what a relief it was to not have to play those slackers from DC, and how by sheer luck, his start of Romo was the single best move of Gordons coaching career :smt020 . Romo was last seen getting a shower of Lone Star with Jerry Jones in the locker room.

In related story, Emery's Saints used The golden arm of Manning's 36 points to squeak by Guns Wranglers. He had to sweat it as Alshon Jeffery blew it up with 27 and Jones made a run at the win on MNF. Saints get back in the mix with his 2nd win of the season.

Wilbur's Steamers weren't so steamy again this week as his was heard singing ALL THE COLD IS IN CALIFORNIA after his team continued its frigid play losing by 60, 123-63 to Sweepers :smt022 . Steamers left 63 on the bench, though it wouldn't have mattered anyways. Better luck next week against the HOT DOGS.

Finally the Ranchers get back in the action with a 80-72 win over the Gladiators. The Rancher's mostly balanced attack took down the Gladiators mostly unbalanced lineup.

As Fantasy Football goes, it looks like everyone is still in the hunt for the crown :smt029 . More than I can say for the NEW YORK GIANTS :smt013 :smt013 . Week 6 pits Crowntainers vs the Saints. Will the Crowns keep up the pace. Will Steamers get back on track or will the Hotdogs play his DC connections :smt017 , meaning he has to Bench Romo :smt018 , the hottest players from last week.

Stay tuned, until next week.......

Great recap as always. The team with the worse record won EVERY game last week!!! (Silver Bar had more points and was ranked higher than Crowntainers)
I had a laugh at Steve Gordon having to rely on a COWBOY to save his season with all his beloved REDSKINS being on their bye week......lol
The game between the Emery Saints and Lovegun's Wranglers was so tight I had to check the scoring to see if Julio Jones's 20 yards of fumble return yardage counted for points which would have made it a tie! (No, they didn't count)
Many great games left on the schedule and it is still any ones game.

REMEMBER: You only have to be in the top 4 to have a chance at winning the whole thing!
Make the playoffs and it is all gravy from there..........

Super job with the weekly recaps. Keep it up! Rep point awarded.............

Can't figure this game out. The same players for the most part each week.

I win by 1 point week #1
tie week 2
Lose by 75 points week 3
lose by 8 points week 4
win by 60 points week 5

My team only knows how to win big or lose big, or win or lose by a squeaker.

Go figure.

Thanks Scott.

The thing I hate about Fantasy sports is you end up rooting against yourself due to the fact i am in 3 leagues. you are always playing someone who has 1 or 2 of your best players.

Great recap! RGWho? Going with Romo for sure. If he has 1/2 the game he did against the Broncos I'll be in good shape.

Sure felt good to get that first win under my belt. I think I'll go for back to back wins!
