Using e-mail on this forum?

If there's two or more members that you want to send the same private message to, and you don't know their e-mail addresses, and they don't list them in the e-mail roster, is there a way you can send a private message to both at the same time?

I don't see such a feature. Seems you have to go to the member list and then find the person and then send it and then ditto for the next and so on and so forth, one at a time. Also, if they have e-mail, it's hidden so you can't type the address for each. Would be nice to have a multiple button or something kinda like 'cc' on e-mail.

Also, would be nice if you could sort the listing by state. Kinda hard to see who's where. Uh oh, I didn't list my state. Sheesh! Shame on me. Foot out of mouth now.

I'll look into a mod for a more versitile email system.

You can sort the memberlist by Location, but alot of members never filled out thier profile completly so their location is empty. Also, some members have outdated or phoney emails so they won't work anyway.

Does the e mail feature even work on this forum? I've had several people tell me they've sent me e mails but I've never gotten any of them. I even tried to send myself one and never got it. Do these e mails automatically go to our @rustybunch.com address or does it go to our regular e mails that we provide in our profiles? How do we even check our e mail that goes to the rustybunch.com address? Help a brother out.

Dave,

To check your @therustybunch.com email you go to webmail.bravenet.com and just login with your email address and password. My problem is remembering to do it since I already have a few other email addresses.

Let me know if it works or doesn't work.

I thought it was automatic that we were all getting one. I don't think I remember signing up for one. Does this mean I don't have one? If that's the case where does it go when someone tries to e mail from this board? It's not going to my CompuServe account. Just wondering.
