I'm guessing this has no relation to the "TEX" beer from Jackson Brewing, USBC2 130-01 ?

Alright, those cans are beyond cool. Are the "fun facts" on the Sportsman can the same as the originals? Hopefully they release a whole series. Printing is cheap nowadays, it's not like they have to burn printing plates for each run.

At $5 a piece with shipping the containers would be worth more than my cans!

I probably have 10-15 "Contest" or Prize cans in my collection. Cans like "Old Style - Win A Porsche" or "Keystone - Win a Stereo" When going through my collection I've always wondered how many winning cans are sitting on collector's shelves that have gone unclaimed? I ...

Re: A Fall City Ditto or Fake can reappears after 11 Years
I wouldn't classify a Movie Prop can as a "Ditto" or "Fake" in the same way as a can that somebody purposely creates in an attempt to rip people off. A can like this I would consider a genuine niche in the Beer Can Collecting world. As long as it is made clear that it is not an a...

See your listed in Minnesota...
They started selling Genesee 30-packs in North Dakota earlier this year.
Grand Forks and Fargo at "Happy Harry's" at least.
Not sure if it was a one-time deal or not.
I'm deployed overseas right now so don't know if it is still there.

You should build up a display of cans like that and bring it to CANvention.
Probably win first place. I know I'd vote for it.

This label was approved by the BATF in April of this year for MILLER brewing.
10.5 oz Puerto Rico can.
Wonder if Miller will continue with it?
A much better looking RETRO label!

Interesting that the label number "AX....." by UPC is the same format as the Pabst APA cans. I believe regular Pabst still uses a "Miller" numbering system.

Thanks for the responses. I figured it was probably a lake can based on the dark brown discoloration.
I'll probably keep it in the collection anyway because they look nice together on the shelf.

I've had these 2 Gettelman cans in my collection for years and have been wondering if the darker one is just discolored from being an underwater can. I can't remember where I got it. The odd thing to me is it seems to have a "woodgrain" finish to all of the areas that are light brown on th...
